Goldtrash Productions
Is an umbrella name for work produced by Catia Ciarico who produces, promotes, programmes and manages events for venues.
Past work includes being the producer of Magic Night previously at Madame Jojo's and Soho Review bar and the programmed the award winning Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
During her tenure at the RVT from 2008 - 2019 the venue won awards and plaudits almost every year for its output. Catia, hired by Paul Oxley (the then owner), took the venue from obscurity to becoming an LGBTQ+ entertainment force that stood its own amongst its theatre and entertainment peers.
Other work includes programming Mimetic festival 2014 at the Vaults, consultant producer and promoter for West End Magic at the Leicester Square Theatre as well as producing shows for/with/in Finger in the Pie productions, Century Club, Field Day Festival, Camden Crawl Music Festival, Glastonbury Festival, The Redbridge Theatre, Didcot Theatre Oxford, The Cockpit Theatre, St Mary in the Castle Hastings, Dingwalls in Camden (known as Lock 17), The Glass House, The Hen and Chickens, The Canal Cafe and was a comedy promoter running nights across London.
Currently, Catia is working for the Two Brewers Clapham, a long standing LGBTQ+ venue with a long history, and is currently developing the entertainment in their second venue room. She is also involved with The Brewers Clapham in Manchester located in Canal Street, in the famous gay village, again developing the entertainment at this sister venue to the Two Brewers.
Catia has worked as a performer in the Street Theatre industry running her own Street Theatre Company and also working for the prestigious Swank Street Theatre Company. She was a stand up comedian before switching to promoting and producing in the Comedy and cabaret industry.
She has also twice been a judge on the panel of the London Cabaret Awards
