New comedy cabaret night comes to St Mary in the Castle April 15th featuring unusual, the bizarre and the hilarious followed by a working class disco.
Filled with organically home grown acts and lots of additives from the ‘outside’.
Introducing Duo Bogof, Baghdads Got Talent, Alfie Ordinary, Griffin and Jones and David Jordan and ably compered by Gareth Berliner.
Expect some nudity, a clown on a piano, tricks, ridiculous humour and a shed load of laughs.
Acts:
Alfie Ordinary: There’s nothing ordinary about this kid, self-described as a cabaret clown and drag prince. He has a dog. He likes Eastenders. He’s plays the piano, is very funny and a bit naughty.
Griffin and Jones: Comedy tricksters and comedians, tricking up a storm with ropes, razors and humorously dark magic.
David Jordan: Combining his brilliant voice with carefully crafted, hilarious and edgy songs, David has written jokes for BBC Radio Four's hit show, 'The News Quiz', music for Comedy Central’s 'Seann Walsh World' and artwork for Greg Davies’ Taskmaster for Dave.
He has also performed to sell-out audiences in London's West End and is now on tour support for Simon Evans on his In The Money tour 2016.
David is currently working on his new show and and received a nomination for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and Piccadilly New Comedian 2016 .
